photoshop preferences?

Whats the best one?

I had editor 9.0 but lost it when my pc flatlined, I now have cs2 which i'm hating, it seems to make things difficult for no reason.

whats best? go back to 9.0 or stick with cs2 until i figure it out?

Cs2 is version 9, What part of Cs2 are you hating ?

I think editor 9 is the Acdsee Photo editor 9, which is a much simpler to use than Photoshop. ( But then until you know it almost any editing program is )

As Toonie said what are you finding difficult ?

Alternatively you could try Photoshop Elements, much simpler program. Or you could try a program such as Picasa. Again very simple to use and more important FREE

Elements only goes up to 8, which has only recently been released.

Get yourself some useful guides, or tutorials. I'm still learning and there's several ways of doing the same thing.

Another vote for Elements here. The full version is a powerful professional tool that has got more features than most photographers will ever need, hence the high price. Elements is much simpler, whilst still keeping the tools photographers need.
