I use the nik complete collection mostly for silver effects pro for black and white conversion and colour effects pro. I also use the pro sharperner plugin that comes with it with actions I made to resize and sharpen for print and web and different media.

I occasional use the noise reduction that it comes with, dfine, but find it don't need it often these days. I haven't used the hdr plugin it comes with and occasionally use viveza, but it was cheaper to buy the whole collection as a set once you wanted more than 2 of the plugins.

Only other plug in I use is imagenomic portraiture for skin retouching as I often prefer that to the nik skin retouching in colour effects pro.

You can do a lot of what nik does with PhotoShop alone but it saves me so much time its worth the price.

Nik colour effx pro (for some colour effects but hardy ever use it if I'm honest)
Imagenomic Noiseware pro (for noise reduction)
Imagenomic Portraiture (for skin smoothing)
Alien skin Bokeh (for OOF effects)
