Due to using a mates 20D instead of my 5D and a lens that refused to auto focus... also i must admit to several bad lighting choices and pose angles all accumulated to the worst results i have ever had from a studio shoot.
I have links for 4 of the RAW photos bellow and was wondering if anyone had some spare time would be kind enough to have a shot at tidying them up. I have started going through them myself but I would be very interested to see how others would go about it.
Any help or advice would be greatly appreciated and I look forward to seeing what improvements you make and how you go about doing it.

I managed to get this one before they became unavailable.

Looks good, better than the original raw anyway :)

Not working for me. It says downloading the cr2 file but after it's loaded all i see is a symbol on the screen...

I've recently developed a craving for black and white photo's, but these are the 800px size ones i have come up with.. original size tiff's in color with a black and white layer if you need want them.

Let me know what you think / if you want them.

Sam.

Mine came out virtually the same, all I did different was slim the legs slightly as the angle towards camera makes them look a little big.

Could you all send me the photoshop files i am interested to see what you have done

Thanks :)

unfortunately the tiffs hasn't saved the history on mine, but I can tell you what I did to them.

In Adobe Camera Raw:
1. I increased the black levels
2. increased contrast
3. on some of them increased / decreased the exposure.
4. lowered the saturation as some of them made the model look a little bit orange.
5. sharpened in adobe camera raw.
6. tansferred into photoshop and used Niks Silver Efex pro v1 to convert to black and white.

edit:

added the color version so you can see what came out of adobe camera raw.

I've had a quick (20mins!!!) go with this one.
Mainly used a bit of dodging and burning to increase the contrast. I then created a B&W version and added that as a 30% layer in darken blend mode. Then a little bit of lab sharpening and high pass sharpening.
