photoshop elements dummy- help me please? the answer is proably oh so very simple!!

Hi,
I am trying to edit some photos in elements. When I go to 'quick edit' and use the drop down menu to get the photo album I want to edit in the project bin, the whole album doesn't show- most of it is there, but lots is missing. Some of the ones missing are the underneath ones in a stack, but not all. Why ca't I see the whole album?

Also, is the only way to take them out of a stack (not sure how they go in a stack in the first place!) individually- I can only find an option to expand or collapse stacks in the organiser, and that doesn't seem to work with all the stacks anyway- arrrgh! It's harder than understanding the camera!!

Ok, have got rid of all the stacks, but still when I try to open the album in quick fix random images are missing- what am I doing wrong????!

If you are using windows highlight the images you wish to edit in the organiser (just a few) right click one of them and send to full edit or quick edit. Don't try to load the whole album into project bin.
