I've been playing around with various editing software and have decided on Photoshop elements 9 for various reasons.

The software isn't cheap at around £74, even ebay versions are selling for not much less and I was wondering if anyone knows of any special offers.
 
It's only available at that price if you purchase a camera or scanner over £100 at the same time
 
If you have a family member at school or Uni, can get it discounted.
 
I've ordered CS5 so my copy of Elements 9 will be going into the classified section shortly along with Scott Kelby's book.

Do you know how many computers CS5 is licenced for by any chance? Oh and if your selling Elements 9 don't forget to unregister from it first as it is only licenced for 3 computers.

A search on Google Shopping brings out Amazon as equal second cheapest at £53.33 with free delivery. Worth thinking about a book as well as there's nothing included in the package except a pdf version: I have one of Scott Kelby's books for an earlier version and also have Photoshop Elements 9: The Missing Manual by Barbara Brundage, I have found both to be very good.

From searching goolge it looks like you can install CS5 on two computers but you can't use them both at the same time.

I've already looked into what I need to do to deactivate elements 9 so that I can sell it.

Looks as if Adobe is out to make as much money as it can. I have and work off 2 computers (one being mainly a backup one) so its something I would have to contact them about if I purchased CS5.
