Photoshop Elements 8 - Image preview

I have just switched from PC to mac and I'm trying to get used to it!

I have installed Elements 8 and when I try to preview my images in bridge cs4, I only get the icon and not the image, it works okay with jpeg files but not with Raw files, can anyone tell me what I'm doing wrong?

This is mega frustrating, any help would be appreciated.

I've never used a Mac but had a similar problem on PC. Have you got the right RAW codec's installed? If not then the computer won't now how to decode the particular RAW format used.
