Photoshop Elements 14 - worth the upgrade ?

Hi

Father in law has an older version of elements (8 I think) which he manages well with, was wondering if the upgrade to 14 was worth while for him and wondered if anyone had done a similar upgrade and what they thought.

He's not the most computer literate and as he's happy with the format of / using his version of elements, not wanting to swap to a different software / on line etc. I know there are going to be differences, but hopefully the familiarity will be there for him.

Going from 8 to 14 is probably a sensible upgrade and you will find a considerable difference in the capability of the software. I know costco have it for not so much these days.

I did have a look at Costco the other week, but couldn't see it - can you remember when you saw it there / which branch ?

It was in the haydock one a couple of weeks back. It's usually with the ink cartridges

Might have to have a wander to that one then - might give Oldham a bell first though, to see if they have it in...
