I've been using CS5 for a while now with RAW files from my Canon 5D mk II. One thing that's always puzzled me is that CS5 rarely agrees with the camera on exposure. When clicking on Auto in Camera Raw, it usually wants to make the image brighter, either by upping the brightness or exposure, although it sometimes reduces it, depending on the subject. The 'difference of opinion' is usually within a stop either way.
Is this normal? I shoot with the camera in Evaluative metering mode.
