Photoshop CC Question

Hi

In photoshop elements, I would decrease an image to 1024px longest side and it would decrease in sharpness as expected. So you then sharpen it and its fine.

In photoshop CC, when I compress size, the image gets sharper and looks bad. It is as if photoshop is trying to compensate for the image size change. How do I stop this?

Just change the re sample method in the "image Size" dialog box.

Thanks - can you change it to any to have no change done at all, like in elements? If not - which option do you use for the best results for photos.

Bilinear will be what you want if you want no sharpening, or smoothing taking place.
