Photoshop cc problems with windows 10

Hope someone can help, 1st off I know very little about computers and only use them because I have to.

Im running adobe cc with windows 10 and last week windows updated but since then my photoshop wont open, it gives me a message saying "photoshop has stopped working" then I simply have to close it down.

Lightroom and bridge is working though cc

anyone any ideas?

I had the same with Elements when the update installed, ended up re-installing Elements and working fine now.

Windows has a habit of turning on Graphics Acceleration in PS which in my experience can cause problems ( it stops working)
Open PS
Then Edit>Preferences>Performance and see if use graphics processor is turned on, if it is turn it off and try again.
If it is turned off check for Adobe updates, there was one quite recently.
Other than that sorry but no idea

Is there any other way of getting to these settings as I can't reach them through ps as it won't let me select anything when it opens

That is to say the least a bit of a b*******r
You could try to either update or uninstall using the adobe desktop and if that works see if ga is turned on.
Failing that ring adobe they are usually pretty good,or so I have found
