Hi all,
Just wondering if anyone can reccomend a good beginers book for Photoshop CS3? I have just got it but haven't a clue with it! Reading tutorials in Photo mags but that is about it. Thanks in advance. Paul

Check out www.lynda.com. I found it loads better than trawling through a book, plus you can access a load of training on other stuff packages etc. The American accents are a touch annoying, but the content is v.good and $25 a month (about £12?) it's pretty good value imho.

Thanks,

A

Thank you Amb3rsil, i shall look at that.

The one I've had most sucess goes under the snappy title of:

The Adobe Photoshop CS3 Book for Digital Photographers. by Scott Kelby. Published by New Riders

I have CS3 for Photographers by Scott Kelby and likewise cannot fault it and refer to it constantly.

You might also like to look at 'Scott Kelby's 7 point System for Adobe Photoshop CS3'

This book takes you through 21 lessons in each of which a photograph is taken from either an untouched Raw file or an untouched JPEG file and processed in CS3 through to the finished article.

I have a great book called Adobe Photoshop CS3 Book for Digital Photographers by Scott Kelby!

It's a great book and takes you thru all kinds of PP work, step by step.

See it on Amazon here:

http://www.amazon.co.uk/Photoshop-D...=sr_1_2?ie=UTF8&s=books&qid=1221670382&sr=8-2

I absolutely love this book. Scott Kelby is clear and concise and his information is aimed at and for photographers...

I am going to investigate 'Scott Kelby's 7 point System for Adobe Photoshop CS3' also...
