Photoshop Action Help

I've created an action in Photoshop CS5 that involves copying an image and pasting it in to an existing template then saving that image. The problem is that it is saving it as the template name.

How do I get an action to save a file as a new unique file name?

Try re-doing the action, open the template, duplicate it, then do the rest of the stuff as before?

I put a stop in before saving so I could tell it where/how to save when I did one with a save at the end

If I put a stop in it then there would be no.way of running it as a batch action would there? I want to be able to run it on lots of files as a batch.
