Photoshop 7 and elements 4

I have been offered both of these by someone who kindly no longer uses them. I currently use DPP would these give me more functionality or are they to out of date? I will never be able to afford Photoshop CS5!

Would I be able to use them with windows 7?

Hi,You don't say if they are offered free or you are paying but If it was me and they are free I think as they are both old I would go for the P/S 7 because of the better options in that software, as to will they work on win 7 I don't no, but try P/S 7 install if it works great if not you loose nothing and uninstall it
Steeper learning curve with P/S 7 but worth the effort. IMO

They are for free. I looked on adobe site and seems like Photoshop 7 won't work with windows 7. I really am looking for layers/masks/tools.

download GIMP its a google editing suite and its FREE, much better than the elements

I Have CS5 - but used GIMP prior to owning CS5, it does more than Elements ever would
