This may be a stupid question and one that's been asked many times before, but someone has asked if they can buy canvases of my photos for their wall. I have said yes, but my question is, is there a place to get them nice and cheap so I could possibly earn a little out of it?

I've had a good search around the web but think I may be looking in the wrong places, all I can find are quite expensive sites, like the one I used to get the ones on my wall produced.

any help wwould be greatly appreciated :)

You can probably get them done cheaply at places like tesco's etc, but it all depends what your classing as cheap....

Personally I'd always go for quality as a primary requirement, cheap and quality are not normally qualities that you'll find in a single product :(

Personally I've had canvas's from Oxford Image Company and Trade Canvas Print, and both have provided excellent service and product at a price I would suggest is reasonable

What size are they after from you and what kind of price did they want to pay?

Thanks for your reply. I had a look at Oxford Image Company and they're about the same prices i've found. Unfortunately, Trade Canvas Print requires me to log in before I can see prices.

They're after A4 to A3 size, i'm not really sure what they want to pay yet. Mine on the wall are slightly bigger than A3, and were £36 each, so i'm after something better than that if possible

I get my canvas' done by a site called my-picture.co.uk. Apparently they have bad reviews but I've ordered twice and the service has been perfect. I bought my mum a canvas with one of my photos, size was something like 36" x 40" and it only came to £36, recently purchased one for my friend and he was very impressed, and it was just slightly smaller that the above. I am going to purchase more to sell once I get enough fund to get them done in the first place. They are cheap but don't let that put you off, we are very impressed with what we have received, only one thing is, is that they come from Germany, I thought they were a UK based company but aren't but as I said we have had no problems and they were packaged really well. Sorry to go on but I was so happy to find this site I just want to tell everyone!

I have used tesco in store photo department, the canvases come out lovely and you can have them made on the hour basis. I had used the online tesco which where ok but they did make a mistake as wanted the canvas to be spread all around the frame but they never did, took it instore and got it made again whilst I waited for free so got 2 for the price of 1 :)

tesco online canvas prints are meant to be better quality than instore (according to staff in store photo lab). I had ordered online and they printed a bar code on the bottom side of the canvas (can't see it unless you look underneath) but this should have been stretched to the back and I ended up getting another canvas done free from them.
Tesco do sometimes to half price offers etc but to be honest I'm contemplating using trade canvas in future as they have good reviews and prices are reasonable.

+1 for Trade Canvas Print. Ben the owner is a member on here you could speak to him

I would be carefull when looking for cheap canvas. I had one done form an ebay shop, cost £15 for a 15''x20''. First impressions were very good, now six weeks later it is starting to look a little loose on the frame. Again, buy cheap buy twice.

I've just bought from trade canvas, the customer service from Ben was outstanding. I haven't seen the finished article yet because it was delivered directly to my mother (it was a birthday present) but I will see it tomorrow. She phoned me to tell me she was delighted with it. It was a 30x30 inch and cost around £70ish

Another huge vote for Richard (Oxford Imaging Company), great service, quality and timescales. How much cheaper do you get?
