It looks VERY like a bird, you can even see where it is in its wing 'stroke'
As for seeing it.....as some birding togs if they can take a crop that tight and still get high quality images. If you could, you'd just take 1 wide angle shot and go home, cropping in on all the birds you got

Still for me it's more a shockingly fast moving insect than a bird! But I don't know for certain if it's an insect either.. It's a UFO - Unidentifiable Flying Object.
