Photos in your home

Nothing other than pictures of the kids is up in my house.
 
I have this one on my wall:-



Taken during my trip to Africa in 2011.
 
I have three framed in a series on our dining room wall which wifey picked out. They were from early on when I got back into photography again and when I look at them now and compare them to more recent photos I have taken I find I want to replace them as I see lots of little things that could have been better! On the flip side though, wifey still really likes them.
 
Ive got some photos hung on walls in my parents house, mostly of their pets and one of my best wildlife images also. Its good seeing large prints of your finest work.
 
Ive got a couple of canvases on my wall at home and will shortly have a few at work as well ... I also have a digital picture frame in the lounge on which i load various different shots as the mood takes me
 
I've just had a count up of all the pictures up in my house.
3 bedroom house, kitchen, living room, dining room so average size really.
2 Lake District photos, not by me.
2 small Cornwall water colours.
1 small Cornwall oil.
All in hallway & landing.
I guess in just not a pictures person.
In the new year, I'm going to set myself a task of getting a couple of my own pictures framed and put up.

I have various from 60" glass framed sunrise over sea to urbex and portraiture with more to come. I would rather hang my own work which people comment on than buy off the shelf work that someone else also has in their home.
 
Only 1 at present, a 24" x 24" canvas of a shot from my guitar porn series, but I plan on putting more up, especially family members portraits.
