I have found some old type square negatives of pictures of my lovely Dad who died over 30 years ago, taken a few moths before his death
in the garden doing what he loved best.
I know I gave the originals to my mother and never got them reprinted at the time, so they wil be lost now.
Any of you film people recommend a good place to get them printed ?
They may be a bit scratched but I can repair that if I scan them once printed
Thanks :)

Probably better off getting the negatives scanned, then doing any retouching done on the scan before printing them digitally... How many negs are we talking about ?

If it's just a couple of rolls of 120, I'd be happy to scan them and get the files to you...

ETA: I can handle neg's in either 35mm or 120 format (120 is like this... in case you're not sure)

(sometimes 120 can be in other sizes, but the width of the film is always the same, and that's what defines if it'll fit in my scanner ;) )

I guess those could be two and a quarter square slides. My Mum used an Agfa Camera with slide and I found old slides with no photo,s from the 60,s and scanned them on my old flatbed just lining them up to the light source.

Results were not great, but,I have the photo,s now.:)

As well as 120 film, it could presumably be 126 (28mmx28mm) Instamatic film (we have some slides in this size from my father in law) and the 4x4 size from 127 (if I remember correctly) baby Rolleiflex type cameras.

Also happy to help if you're nearer to London than the liquorice fields.

Thanks, 120 sounds familiar can't remember what the camera was, it was my very early venture into photography before I moved to film SLR
I was thinking if I had them printed I could then scan and repair s the colours would be correct,
Quick picture of them, sorry about the weave background, only thing I could find to attach them to

BTW I still have that DIY camera if you want it or any of the other film people do

Thank you that is really kind of you both to offer to do this,
Nick I'm just south of Guildford, but I can post them to who ever :)
