Photos don't get any better than these

I can only repeat what everyone else says and add 'wow!'

So just a question for anyone who understands the mechanics of cameras better than I do, is there any reason why a DSLR wouldn't work in space (e.g. lack of gravity affecting mirror operation)?

Does your dSLR work upside down or on it's side?

Fantastic images............He was obviously well prepared for the job in hand. Can you imagine going on a once in a lifetime trip like that and forgetting your batteries:bang:

Ah but surely the accelerometer won't register that you wanted a portrait photo, so won't auto-rotate when you hit the play button? (minor issue granted!)
