And a few weeks later a workflow example.
The reviews on this channel seem reasonably good, even if I don't agree with his conclusions about Capture One !

They have done in the past, but there is no regular pattern. Also the pricing structure they brought in last year makes the perpetual license rather unattractive.do Capture One ever have sale days etc?
Thanks for that Graham.which subscription do you have? They have done in the past, but there is no regular pattern. Also the pricing structure they brought in last year makes the perpetual license rather unattractive.
With the perpetual license features are "frozen" at the day of purchase, and bug fixes only provided for 12 months. You can upgrade at the end of 12 months, which bring you up to date with new features and a further 12 months of bug fixes. The upgrade pricing for the perpetual license is complicated, There is a 40% discount if you upgrade every year, but you pay the full price if you upgrade every 2nd year.
There is a table here (you need to scroll down) that gives some costs comparisons:
As I upgraded my perpetual license every year, and as the new licensing scheme reduced the subscription price, I switched to the subscription, which means I'm paying a little bit less than I was paying for the perpetual license.
The cheapest one, which is £175 a year. Thanks for that Graham.which subscription do you have?
