Photomatix+NET framework

I have downloaded the folder for trial version of Photomatix, on opening the folder i am asked to download NET Framework.
Is this normal?.

· Windows Vista, or Windows 98, ME, 2000 or XP with .NET 1.1 framework or higher (if the .NET framework is not installed, the installation wizard of Photomatix Pro will invite you to download it from Microsoft's website).

i downloaded this the other week and i dont remember having to do that, did you download it from the photomatix site??
