Hi all,

Not posted on the forum much myself as i tend to read all the posts instead of posting my own

At the minute i am out of work and have been for a while. I was working in IT for 7 years from when i had left school and its the only Job that i have done. My question is i keep getting turned down for IT roles as i do not have any grades or a bit of paper to show for what i know. I am now looking into if there is any photograpghy training or any kind of photograpghy roles that i could try and get into for a change from doing IT.

I also tend to lack a bit of self confidence which is not always easy.

If anyone can advise on anything or any tips please reply.

Many Thanks
Chris

There's a really good article in one of the mags I bought this month that covers photography careers. It covered Armed Forces, Medical Illustration and Forensics. I'll try to dig it out for you later.

There are various full time courses you can do from HND to Degree too.

Hi Chris,

Check out this link to a really successful photographer who changed careers to get where he is today. Well I found it inspirational so I hope it does something for you to.
