Who are the market leader for professional insurance for gear, indemnity and liability?

I remember in 2016 Photoguard wanted £800 so I switched to Aaduki in 2017 and it was £400. Granted I added some Sony gear without selling any Canon gear….so it’s now over £500, but want to do some comparison, who else are there in the market? Just for quotes and perhaps something to go back to Aaduki and haggle with.

I am with Photoguard but have also used Eversure.
I guess it depends on the total value of your kit and coverage etc, so quotes will vary from person to person.

I've found Eversure the most competitive for the last 2 years.

I've just switched from Photoguard to Eversure.

So recently that I've not yet had the pleading emails from Photoguard.

Thanks guys, it seems Aaduki's quote this year is competitive enough, Eversure actually cost more for the same coverage.

Are you shooting professionally?
If not - I tacked £25k + of gear onto my house contents policy for about £30 a year. That is "all risks" + in other countries for a limited period. This is not professional cover just cover for what I need.

P.S. The House, contents and photography gear were a little under £400 after the initial discount ran out.

I also added £7000 to my home insurance for £20 extra per year. they don't ask if you are pro or not and will replace old for new. includes cover when out and about but only £1000 if you leave the equipment in car boot. so you have to keep the gear with you when your out and about.

Though you are renting, don't you insure your household possessions?

PS I surmise that your rental home would meet the security requirements to insure "your" possessions???
