photography in the south

Hi guys, further to other bloogs, i have a project for the young people i work with, they have to put together a small portfoliolo of images...not hard at all i hear you say, however i am stuck in southampton, and do not have the funding to take them out of the city, so the images will need to be local and good, has anybody got any ideas of what is photogenic in this city

How about things like the Bargate, Civic Centre, St Marys; Kingsland Market, Itchen Bridge, Ocean Village, etc?

You could have a word with Red Funnel ferries, as its for a good cause they might let you have some free tickets to have a day out in Cowes, plenty of scope on foot for a day out.
