This may sound like an odd question coming from someone living in Scotland but please stick with me...

I have a week-off coming up in July and would really like to get out for a few days photography, any suggestions on locations I can reach via car from Dundee in a reasonable amount of time? Loch Lomond is on my list at the moment.

Glencoe, Glencoe and possibly Glencoe ;)
 
lol cheers Janice, sad thing is I probably know Cornwall and the surrounding area better than Scotland what with being an ex brummie who holidayed in that area every year!

And I'm getting vibes towards Glencoe :lol: Added that to the list also, cheers Les!

If you do decide on Glencoe, I've a pdf file I put together with a number of locations that are worth checking out (maps and comments)

I'd be interested too Les. I'm off to that area at the start of July :D

Going to Arran first.... then Mull..... then Skye... Then 2 days meandering back down the mainland before home.

I've been reading the old threads for locations and eagerly looking out for new ideas. Never been past Glasgow before and that was just a working visit.
