Before someone calls me a southern softy there's a good reason for this post, I'm on aspirin for life and as such my blood is like water, this time of the year I have trouble with sensation and loss of feeling in my fingers so I could do with some photography gloves that are touch screen compatible, if anyone in TP land can recommend any not too expensive gloves I'd be really grateful please.

Sean.

Hi Sean, I have two pairs of 'photography' gloves. They are:
The North Face etip gloves: http://www.thenorthface.co.uk/tnf-uk-en/catalogsearch/result/?q=etip+gloves

These have a rubber palm and fingers, and the index finger has a material that is conductive. They work well.

The other pair are Rab phantom grip gloves with grippy areas, but are not touch screen compatible,

There's a couple of recent threads, Sean, if you search. Quite a few good suggestions in them.

Just got a pair of North Face Etip: Millets had them at half price @£15 delivered to local JD Sports.

You guys don't disappoint, many thanks for the replies, plenty to choose from.

Short term I've bought a pair from Amazon, I'll see if they keep my hands warm then I'll keep them.

I got some of these from Decathlon, only cost me a quid and they do various sizes so you can get a very nice close fitting glove that still allows you to twist and turn all your knobs

Looks like they've got a sale on now, only 59p, can't beat that

I might get another pair at that price and snip the finger and thumb off to make life even easier

Just ordered a couple of pairs, fantastic bargain by the looks of it, thanks for the recommendation.

Can't go wrong for that price, I think I'll get some too, can't have too many pairs of gloves.

Indeed, i originally bought a pair with the intention to cut the fingers out if needed, but they actually work pretty well, might have to nip into town and get another pair now though

I bought a pair similar to the ones 4wd recommended and to tell you the truth they're great, nice and thin but I'm very surprised how warm they are.

Go outdoors and goto the fishing section! They do gloves where the thumb and first two tips fold back! £5
