Hi guys,

Hope you are all well. Can anyone point me in direction of the best online photography course for beginners? I

Many thanks
Nathan

Personally, I would take a look at the following book, it's very informative and will help you get off the Auto Mode (assuming that's the objective). Once you have an understanding, you can then think about the composition and what's pleasing to the eye. Regards to that, You Tube will have loads of free materiel. Mads Peter Iversen is a good example (though landscapes).

Thank you both for responding.

I have ordered that book and will check out the guys on YouTube you recommend.

A lot of people seem to like Mike Brown on YouTube, so he's worth a look. I've watched a couple of his videos and what I found refreshing is that he talks normally and doesn't 'put on' an outlandish persona as so many on there seem to do - especially American 20-30 something boys men.

Of course, books are better if you can get on with them, but I thought it was only old farts like me that still read them. ;)

@nath_mcn

Since quite a few of the shots you have posted are landscape, I would look at Nigel Danson's you tube channel. Amongst his videos are quite a few 'starter type' videos on particular topics

And another one is Adam at First Man Photography
