Photography courses Nottingham

I have been looking for a photography course in the Nottinghamshire/Mansfield area.

I'm mainly into taking Motorsport and portrait although I would prefer to have a more basic understanding of photography in general.

I have basic equipment of Nikon D70s DLSR and a 35 - 105 Macro lens but I am looking for other lenses on various sites.

Please can anyone help?

I searched around myself, I live in Ilkeston, but I couldn't much more than introduction courses for complete beginners.

It's more suited towards starting a career out of photography though, but i've learned a lot of useful information so far!

When you say 'More of a basic understanding of photography', how exactly do you mean?
