Photography Courses around Heathrow area

Good morning all,

As the title states, I am looking for any photography courses around the Heathrow area that are recommended by Forum users.

I am completely new to the use of a DSLR and have recently purchased a Canon 550D.

I am looking for a course which teaches right from the basics. I want to understand how best to use my camera and get the most out of it.

I have just got hold of a copy of Understanding Exposure by Bryan Peterson.

Are there any suggestions as to what I should be looking for from a course?

I am also keen to learn from websites so any guidance as to where would also be greatly appreciated.

get on www.meetup.com - there not specifically courses but you can search for local meets within your home area (its setup by people for people) I've joined a few on there and its been good... and you get to meet other togs!

Theres a few groups (search for photography) and you'll find the better ones have regular meet up's they charge next to nothing and do studio lighting, off camera flash evenings etc etc, hope that helps.
 
You can also find some great tutorials in Youtube too, well worth a search on there.
