In your opnion, what are the top 5 to 10 photography comps out there (non indisrty specific ie specific wedding comps).

The ones that strike fear into those who enter.

like taylor wessing portrait, or national geographic.....

just curious really.....

  • Deutsche Börse Photography Prize: You can't enter though... you're nominated. This is the top photography award there is... ever. It's like winning an oscar.

  • AoP Photographers Award
  • AoP Open Awards
  • Photography Masters Cup
  • Sony World Photography Awards
  • The Lucie Awards
  • London Festival of Photography Awards
  • Charlie Waite (Take a View) Landscape Photography Awards

LOL.... I agree.. this time around anyway. I think Christina De Midell should have won this time.... possibly Chris Killip.

Must agree. Pretentious crap.
 
I wouldn't go that far. It's debatable whether it's photography, and I personally don't like it. Liking something isn't a measure of it's worth though. It's still a good project.
