Photography Clubs.

With excellent sites like TP I wonder if any more can be learn't going to a club. From what I have seen on here most question/problems/advice is readily available from TP members.

I agree although something can only really be learn't and bedded in the brain with 'live' tutition and some being able to explain things thoroughly... maybe :|

Thursday nights, lots of new young enthusiastic members, Trips out, practical & tutorial evenings.

We're mostly digital there are a few 'normans' - I'm getting on a bit! - but that means we have a good bit of knowledge to share.

i was in a good club with all ages and categories to photograph in
it was in the days when people shot transparencies so that is what i did
we had our old lads of course, and they were good! but with perseverence they can be blown away...then you get blown away
its exciting on judges nights and with lots of workshops on lighting etc with some pros coming in to show portraiture and talks on all sorts of photography and things photographed..historical
give it a go and you will learn...i can guarantee it
