Photography Bucket List

The US flag on the moon

Pretty sure if you travel to a studio in the desert in the USA then that could be possible....

For me it would be split between some sporting events and iconic images.

1 - Scotland winning at Hampden
2 - Photographing all Ross County games in a season
3 - Tour De France stage in France
4 - Monte Carlo Rally
5 - NFL game...ideally an Oakland Raiders game.
6 - Sun set images in the major capitals of the world
7 - Bruce Springsteen playing at Glastonbury (or any gig tbh)
8 - Vietnam
9 - This sounds a bit dark, but when there a major disaster happening (for example the Tsunami in Japan). Sometimes these things can produce stunning images and for me I want to be there with the camera....it's difficult to fully explain why though in words.

A simple landscape of the whole earth from space would do me.

I was thinking that, a shot showing the curvature of the earth from space would be all kinds of awesome but then when would I have the opportunity to take it?

Then I remembered the BBC programme "Bang Goes The Theory" sent a couple of cameras up on a helium balloon and recovered them after a parachute drop and The Register (online IT news site for those unfamiliar with it) ran Project PARIS recently, both of which got some amazing photos.

Register flickr gallery.

Makes me wonder whether it's such a pipe dream after all.

Nearly 2 years since I started this thread and I still haven't managed much - been too engrossed in buying and selling camera gear!

I think I'll try and add a couple more to my wish list...

I've never managed to capture lightening, that's one I should get done sometime soon. Considering the weather here last few years. I'd love to some under water shooting too, sharks! And tropical fish, diving along the coral reef is another on the general bucket list. Some aerial shots of Ireland from a hot air balloon, another dual one, as I'm terrified of heights!

Aerial shots sound great

There's a few I'd like to get,
Pyramids at Giza, outside and inside,
Earth from space,
Liverpool winning the premiership (not going to happen for ages yet),
England winning the world cup,
A certain 19 year old that I know
A great White Shark under the water (I'd be in a cage for definite)

Maybe if I'm still shooting in 30 years time I'll of done a couple if I'm lucky.
