What's the betting we never see or hear from the OP again? There seem to have been a few of these one-liners recently, makes me wonder if it is some sort of bot but I can't think what it might achieve since there is no visible advertising or link or whatever.
lots of the one-liners have asked a question, then after half a dozen replies, the entire thread has disappeared.... if this happens, it's usually that site staff have found a reason for the person asking the original question to not be here

Thing is, we don't have the luxury of being able to jump to conclusions, as when we drop the hammer, the nail has gone. We do however have a few tools and resources that allow us to make sure first - but - that takes a while - so, sorry if you feel you've wasted time in replying to threads in broken english, asking slightly strange questions about photography from Kayaks (for example...) - but there's every chance that the odd questions could well be Kosher, just, well - odd and curtly (I blame the phone apps for this) or perhaps badly phrased...
In short, please keep answering, but if something seems "odd" - report it, and let us do the moderating...
cheers folks.
to the OP -
@image - I have to say, your original question does kind of fall into the last category I mentioned - it's WAY too general and short to be given a sensible reply to straight off the bat. If you're wanting a more considered reply, then put some time and effort into your questions - we're actually all pretty helpful people - happy to freely give our time and effort to people who are genuinely asking something... but, we're going to put more time and effort in when we know that our answer isn't going to be just in an entirely wrong direction... Imagine if someone had typed 10 paragraphs about astro photography, only for you to have said "I was more interested in light trails"...
For a discussion, it needs to be from both parties... as a new member, we perhaps expect a little more in terms of "setting up" of the question than we would from someone who we know spends most of their time in the people photography bit of the forum, with occasional forays into landscapes...
just something to bear in mind for future questions
