Hi Guys,
Will have free run of the house on Tuesday, so I will be converting the living room into a make-shift Water Droplets studio.
I will be using Gavin Hoey's water droplets video as a guide, (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=fwExpFDUC9Y) but I am looking or any additional tips from those who have experience in this field. I will have all the equipment that is in the video, bar a macro lens. Will this hold me back?
On Wednesday, I will be moving onto 'Fruit Splash in Fish Tank' photography (examples - http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=tR3YMpNJO5E). Again, I have an idea for a set-up, but I am puzzled as to how to achieve both a white background and have my subject illuminated with just one light. Someone has suggested that I could just use a piece of white paper and let the natural light illuminate it, but once I have exposed the camera for the flash gun, surely the white will just turn to grey/black? Again, I have quite literally no experience so please correct me if I'm wrong.
Thanks for reading, I would love to hear you tips.
Sid.
