With LED lights feature in more and more houses, I thought I would ask if anyone else has come across the issue of LED lights and the frequency they operate at?

Basic issue is LED lights often have a frequency of 100hz and produce a flicker. You can't see it with the naked eye but it is very visible in photographs. Example here:

You can counteract this by setting your shutter at 1/100 but then you are limited on the type of photographs you can take under LED lights.

Just thought I would see if anyone else had similar issues.

Same thing under flourescent tubes too. Almost took a brand new 5D3 back as "faulty" until I realised (read that as I searched the Internet) what was going wrong. In the old film days you couldnt use more than (less than really) 1/100th because of the Iso limit, now of course cameras can shoot at ridiculously high Iso you can use a fast shutter speed. Not everything that is new is progress!
