What is the best set up for this, I thought about white card folded in various different ways but does anyone else have experience of photographing chocolates and how did you do it?

I'm particularly proud of my choccies that I've made and feel that there is potential there for me to practice making and photographing to build up my confidence in that area?

I have no experience in photographing chocolates only devouring them! :D

It sounds interesting though, do you sell them?

You'd have to get the lighting right and shoot quick though before they started melting!!

Sorry, that was no help whatsoever. ;)

If you use lights use a fan to blow cold air over them.

Photographing chocolate ain't easy! It's very difficult to make it look nice. The only thing I could suggest is using well diffused light and a very shallow depth of field.

A friend of mine used to be an assisant to a food photographer and he said whenever they had to shoot chocolate they used to mix really thick gravy powder and use that instead as it photographed better :gag:

By some strange fate I have just stumbled across this...
