and quite right too!

I don't agree with that, if he was documenting what the other two were doing, then I don't think he could be a lookout.

Although his memory card was taken, it's possible that whatever evidence he had was destroyed as according to the article, it hadn't been returned.

What the other two were doing was illegal!

So jail every undercover reporter then who has ever made a film about the scum of the world because they sure as hell know the people they are filing are doing illegal stuff, I dont think so.

:bat: Ross kemp etc etc etc (ok so can only think of his name at this time of night but there are others  )

and it means he is also committing a crime?

most great photojournalism shots i like all have something illegal in them, does that mean the photographers should all have been charged too?

Donal MacIntyre too- mind you any excuse to get rid of him

To commit a crime and or be a victim to a crime or to be incorrectly accused of a crime seems to be one of the must do things to get your name out there these days.

I thought this sounded familiar...

Do the same thing in Berkshire and you get served with an ASBO

I suspect that had more to do with trespass than anything else.

You start turning up regularly on railway property, you will get spanked - no mistake.

Just because you are a "photographer" or even a "journalist" doesn't mean you can trespass with impunity - particularly not when it comes to railway property.

It is probably worth remembering that this is reported from a country that often has a quite different approach to 'laws' to the UK.

seriously? a year for aiding and abetting GRAFFITI artists? get a grip, its not murder.

ahh but remember in most States in the US you have the right to use deadly force to protect property, whether the transgressor is armed or not...even if they are fleeing with your goods...

Surely he was gathering evidence :whistling:

True that. No right to roam here. :-(

I believe the American legal system allows for people being at the scene of a felony offence to be charged along with the main felon.

Seen it happen in Murder cases when the driver of the getaway car is also charged with murder as he was part of the crime.
