It's more lightly he was thinking of nicking it from you!
Lets not get too American here! You can't own an adjective.
If your camera is big, and this includes any camera that you cannot fit in your pocket, then you are a pro and will be refused entry.
:bang:
I was at an event the other day taking a few pictures when this guy started talking to me.. he said "that setup looks expensive"
I couldnt believe what I was hearing.. was he calling me a thief? Just because I have a DSLR and a big lens he automaticaly thinks I stole it? I assured him I had paid for it and he kinda pulled his face in that "yeagh right" way they do.. it was obvious what he was thinking..
I hear this happens to a lot of photographers all over the country.. They never accuse people with compact cameras yet they can get quite expensive.. Its just us DSLR users isn't itI am going to get my reciepts printed and laminated and carry them with me.. that will show them..
Do you think I should.. Or am I being a bit Paranoid ?
PS pinch of salt.. you either get it or you dont![]()
My first thought is that YOU completely jumped to conclusions. It doesn't sound like he was accusing you of stealing at all!
Your completly and utterly missing the point....
I absoloulty agree with your opinions as i daresay do many.. but this isnt about restrictions or about people being called pedophiles or about being set upon.. its about people thinking thats happening to them when it more likely isnt.. ie paranoia
My first thought is that YOU havent even read the thread your replying to ...have you![]()
