Does anyone know of a decent (free) image viewer and library to replace Windows Picture Viewer? I've tried Picasa which I don't like. I use Lightroom for editing but am looking for a replacement for the Windows supplied thing.
 
The Library module in Lightroom works really well, so much so that I don't ever use the image viewer in my OS.
 
I have used faststone for a long time.. also views RAW files.. in fact the more you use it the more it will suprise you as to what it can do.. it brilliant for that first run through your pictures to see whats what.. I have mine set for arrow keys to go through them and a click of the mouse button anywhere on screen makes the picture instantly 100% while the mouse button is pressed and back to viewing when you let go.. tagging pics is easy.. ooer it has loads of good stuff
 
I've just downloaded it as well and at first glance it looks pretty impressive. I'll have a better look tomorrow but happy so far.

Now had a good play with it and this is exactly what I'm looking for. Thanks guys. :thumbs:
