Yes
hi all, can someone help me upload photos from photobucket.
or is there a instruction book out there.
there never seems to be any instructions with computing, they all seem to think we are computer geniuses.

If I was you I would use Flickr as photo bucket compresses your images and destroys the quality off them. And it's much easier to use you just drag and drop to upload your images.

In Photobucket either:

In the album your thumbnails should have 4 rows of numbers under them. L click on the one that is labelled Direct then R click and select Copy
or
In the album click on the picture you want to link to, it will then appear larger with the same row of 4 numbers to the right. L click on the one labelled Direct and it will automatically copy the number.

In TP when you write a reply simply click on the Image icon (next to the smiley one) and paste in the number you have copied where it says Image URL:

Try it in this thread first - it won't matter if you get it wrong a few times :D

Next to each image you'll see this...

Click on whatever link you want.... So you know you don't want to e-mail it... so ignore that one... Direct will just put up a link to the image... HTML is for embedding an image into a website, so it has to be IMG. Click it...

Then paste it in here with either Edit/Paste from your browser menu (unless you have Internet Explorer.. which sucks and doesn't have a menu by default) or by pressing CTRL+V

As others have said though.... Photobucket is crap. Use Flickr instead.

I'm beginning to agree with the Photobucket comments ... I've posted a couple of images on here now using that route and they both look totally flat compared to the original. Might review that decision and explore Flickr instead.

Having said that, I find uploading from PB quite a simple process ....
