Yes
It has been mentioned on a few of my threads that my images are 'soft'

The images look fine to me & i'm hoping that it is down to my method of
file resizing & image host.

I have uploaded the same image to Photobucket & Flikr to do a little
comparison.

Would appreciate your thoughts.

1. Photobucket - resized to '#8 quality & 900 on longest side'

2. Photobucket - straight from Hard drive after pp in Lightroom

3. Flikr - straight from hard drive after pp in Lightroom (displayed 800 longest side)

Looking at these images does show that resizing and using Photobucket is making my images appear soft :-(

Yes, the flickr shot is sharper, I use Photobucket, but I always resize to about 900px on the long size, before uploading & never had a problem with sharpness, Lovely portrait BTW.

Yes Flickr one definitely sharper.....thanks for doing that, good to know the difference. I like using photobucket to upload from for some of the silly edits in the image editing forum as I don't really want to put them on my flickr stream :D

ps: Still LOVE that pic!
