I thought I'd write a post to tell you all on my experience with the above companies and their ability to print personalised calendars.
With the Christmas discounts they were similarly priced.
Vistaprint charged £17 for a glossy version. The printing was very good on good thick paper and was very glossy, almost wipe clean glossy. The construction was very industrial too..
Photobox charged £14. It had a satin finish, it was smaller then the Vistaprint one. The photos were well produced. The construction was good but the hanging hole was a bit small though.
Snapfish charged £17. It way a matt finish. It was printed on (guessing) 110gsm paper. The photos production was muddy and dark. The construction was a simple stapled booklet.
Based on price I would recommend the photobox version.
Based on out and out quality (& if you need one for your tank or submarine) the Vistaprint is by far the best. Also is the best if you want to have a production run.
Snapfish was a real waste of £17. If you have access to a colour laser you could make one yourself.
I hope you might find this useful
