Photo52 - Week 47

If I was that Id have my 'Self ' in the bag by now - oh what cruel irony :)

AARRGGHHH!!!!!!!! How many more horrors are in that bag...

Maybe we should rename this.. "Simon's little bag of Horrors!, week 47"

Conor, can I borrow that crowbar when you're done with it please ?

 I've a funny feeling it's gonna get a lot of use this week! Actually, gives me a chance to make a new emote... must think of an idea for a crowbar emote... Will do that at home this evening

Which one? Emote or Organised???

Sure these old uns don't know the meaning of emote...

Funnily enough, I actually have the beginnings of an idea forming for this one. It's got to be a better theme than "self" or "doom & gloom".

Question for Simon . . .
I've really been enjoying this 52 and since I started late I'd like to continue next year.
I know that a couple of others have said the same thing. . . although they could have just been humouring my insanity :cuckoo:

Are there any spare themes in the bag for after December?
Would you be willing to run this again next year or share the list of themes with somebody else so that they could run another themed 52 for 2010?

(OK I know that's more than one question)

After some great shots with Self with some particularly brave shots in there too.

The theme for this week is

Organised

Oh the irony for someone who is already two themes behind :bang:

Conor, Simon requested input for the bag on a thread (of course I can't find it) and lots of people threw in suggestions. And a few of us, who were mad enough... signed on for the ride.

Ah! Thanks

There are plenty of themes in the bag - enough to make it interesting for the rest of the year. (I have had a look at what's left and if you really want to you can work it out too - although trust me you don't want to ;))

Given the sucess of this and that people have only just started their 52s and some of those that have been involved through the year want to continue at the end of the year I will continue to pull the themes (and perhaps even start taking part again and do more than 1/2 the year myself this time).

I will put some (not all) themes back in the bag from this year and in mid december I will post a thread asking for a few more/different themes for next year. The plan is again I will advertise the themes in the bag so you can prepare if you want to but there will be more than 52 so at the end of the year you still won't know what will be pulled.

P.S. Any requests to remove some of the themes from this year will guarantee that they stay in ;)

 Thank you Simon!

(and I'm not going to tempt fate by asking for any of the more horrible themes to be taken out!)

Thanks Simon - as a very late starter I'm delighted that this is going to continue next year! Many thanks!

Hurrah! Thanks Simon - it would be great if you joined in again too

Don't wish to come across like a nobber but is there anything to say how this all works? Sounds like a top idea but not too sure how to get involved.

To join in all you have to do is start your own thread in here. Then just add a photo a week to your thread. You'll see all of our threads alread in there. They'll have 52 in the title.

@SimonTALM
I was thinking, should you maybe include a 1 liner every week on how people can join in? Just something you can copy and paste into you post every week?

I wonder if it would work that I don't post anything? Cos then I'll be DISorganised

No?
b****r.

Nice try Leann ;). I was organised this week and had it posted by Friday :D.

I'm with you here Sarah - I have every intention of carrying on next year :)

I've got nothing so far... absolutely squat.

And I still havn't got anything for Low Down either...

:help:

Shyyyyyyyyyte. I'm gonna be late with this one, It's sunday. Where has the week flown? I've been so busy and not busy, I've just lost track of time. Bummer :(

I went and captured mine on film. Saw a shot while I was out with my lubitel. Hope it came out ok, we'll see . So basically just put a place holder in for myself.

You should have kept that quiet.
I hadn't even noticed that Low Down was missing. . . you could probably have got away with that.

:bonk::D

Organised is now in the bag though so progress is being made :)

If there is a 52 next year, is it open for anyone to join in? id really like to have a go!

Hi! It's open to everyone :). I joined in half way though myself. I think there's a few hoping to do it again next year so feel free to start up a thread yourself.

Is a team photo too tenuous a link for organised as I got a good one yesterday :D

Me thinks most of the latter part of the year for my 52.09 are going to be rugby or football shots with really tenuous links :lol:
