Photo52 - Week 04

OMG.... I tell you, it'll be a helluva surprise if I come up with anything ... Now where on Earth did I leave my thinking caps... all of them... and I'd better go borrow a few too...

i have an idea but its not very different photographicly from what i have already done for the 52 was hoping for something that would not be shoot on my dinning room table.

Oh good god.

:help:

Funnily enough I've had more ideas for this one today than all the others put together :) Now its just up to me to make it happen :D

Damn :)

Hmmm have nothing for this one......This is going to be a real challenge....

Surprise.... shock more like, when I saw this...:help:
Now then where did I put the whoopee cushion:D

completely clueless for this weeks! Moves away from the computer to stick pencils up my nose, a pair of underpants on my head and say wibble...

Just read the new theme and will participate for the first time - great idea the weekly challenge.
Do I have to post the link to my picture/thread here? I´ve already got an idea, will buy the "ingredients" tomorrow morning and build my miniature photostudio in the evening.

Greetings from Dülmen

start a thread in the general photo sharing sub forum and post away :)

"I have a cunning plan!" (although I'm not sure it manages to get up there with the cunningness of Baldric's plans ....)

damn you all and your cunning plans - am sat here with the time to do it and zero inspiration :(

Seems we have a BlackAdder theme going on :)

 John, it just seemed appropriate to continue it :D

yup - me too. Not a clue for this one.....

I might have to resort to a bit of a cheat on this one and use something I took a week or so ago as I can (I think I can) make it fit the theme. I will have to test my photoshop skills to make it work so I'll still be learning something though.

Did any easy themes go in that hat at all? :bang:

I did wonder about asking if anyone at work had a jack in a box but then decided as I didn't have any sort of lighting, studio set up or separate flash I really would be wasting my time.

Sometimes its quite frustrating having a reasonable idea but knowing you don't have the equipment to carry it out. Its even more frustrating realising you do have the equipment but not the know-how:lol:

If you've got the oppo, might be worth a trip to Jessops. I got a Jessops 300AFD for £34. I'm 100% certain it's not as good as a speedlight, but at 10% of the price it gives me an extra option to play with, and hopefully, if needed, I can use it to trigger the dSLR buster set to Slave I have. My Cunning Plan involves using it. (now whether I can pull it off, that's another ballgame entirely)

I've asked around people I know as well to see if they had a jack in the box. :D

Simon - Your other half's manicures are absolutely gorgeous. Every week looks even better than the one before.

I wondered if any one was paying attention :D. She'll be delighted they've been spotted. She absolutely loves her nails (all her own btw - none of this false stuff) but as she's a primary teacher she feels that they have pale colours on during the week to set an example to the small things. So at the weekend she goes all creative, you can be certain that what ever she is wearing they will match perfectly. Just wait until easter, I can almost guarantee they'll have eggs on them.

As for the jack in the box idea, I think we'll see a few of them this week (if I can find one I'll be using it). I've got something already in the can but I will only use it as a last resort; it's a Kinder Surprise  :bonk:

It's up to you where you post but I suggest you post your results in your Photo52 thread, that's what the rest of us are doing.

Just had a lightbulb moment, which is a surprise in itself! :D
To be fair the good lady wife set me off on the idea. Just got to turn it into a passable picture now.:bonk::thumbs:

I noticed that they are different for each week :D

Kinder Surprise was my next idea :bang::lol:

Seeing as we're all going to end up with Kinder Surprise, the challenge will be to get it in the most unusual shot

 how could you throw the egg away. Chocolate is chocolate :bang:

Bobbins, Chocolate is dark dark brown with a distinctive "snap" ideally 70% - 85% and has high proportions of good things make make you feel good. The "milk" chocolate is mostly sugar and the white stiff distinctively unpleasant :D

But I supose everyone has their own tastes

Simon, you know, you just can't beat decent high quality dark chocolate

I got a couple ready to go, just really want to find something else in case I change my mind. The challenge I set myself this week was so much harder....:cuckoo::cuckoo:

I've got an idea, just need to get a gospel choir, a team of cheerleaders and a bunch of American footballers to jump out of a cake for me :D

;)

I prefer dark chocolate too, particularly Bournville, have loved it since being a child and when my sisters were spending their pocket money on disgusting jellyfied sugar coated sweets I always opted for a bar of Bournville.

However, if offered a Kinder Egg I most certainly wouldn't throw it away, they don't taste that bad and I've been on a diet the past three weeks so believe me any chocolate is good, unless its got nuts in it!!
