Flippin nora....been at it an hour & still not managed to comment on everyones thread :bonk:

I use the spreadsheet to find the posts...clicking on the link by the user name to take me to their thread....soooo simple & much easier to work out whose I've commented on
 
I'm going to start my comments on round 2 later tonight as well as try to find the week 1's I might of missed
 
I'm going to start comments on the week 2's tonight after I've tracked down any week 1's I might of missed.

I assume give a few weeks and some people will drop out making life easier
 
I try my best to comment on all the threads - if I miss anyone out please feel free to PM me and ask me to look at your thread - I really won't mind - in fact it will make life easier for me lol :lol:
 
I've been trying my hardest to get to everyone, just not enough hours in the day!

Think I'm going to have to figure out another way of doing it

Actually I have given this further thought on the drive home and you're right it's just about impossible.

I think I am going to focus on people that are proactive in commenting/encouraging other members.

Well, there are 143 threads in the 52 project sub forum, I have 130 subsrbibed threads in my subscription list and 12 of those are some of the 366's and other bits and bobs! So for the 25 ( I think :lol:) I have missed I am sure I will get round to you at some point!


IF your thread is getting berried at the back of the list. just post a fresh message to bring to the top.

Everybody is doing a great job of embracing these themes! Good luck with it, stick at it and have fun! :clap:

Know what you mean! This is my first year at this so want to try and get involved with c&c even though my knowledge base is very small!

By the time you've looked at a couple of week 1 threads there are just as many week 2 pics up and you spend more time keeping on top of that than doing a theme photo yourself!

I'm going to have to start subscribing to the threads and just cover as many different ones as I can.

I have started a comments spreadsheet, marking off those who I comment on as I go. I lost track! I can also see who is not posting and hopefully the list to look up will drop off a little. If not its a testament to everyone's dedication.

Always think its only fair if you want comments to comment in the first place. Even if its like having a part time job :lol:

Then there is the 366ers. Though a bit easier to track!

I have to apologise again, I barely have enough time to do this project let alone visit what others are doing :(

I am hoping things will get easier once January is out the way, lots to do at work just now.

hallelujah.....by jove I think I've done it....finally commented on all the threads....it's a flippin challenge in it's own right :eek:


You can bet your bottom dollar someone's now gonna come along & my burst my happy bubble by saying...." you forgot me :'( "

I've decided to copy the spreadsheet and save it to my laptop.

When I've commented on a members post, I'm going to highlight....not a genius idea but I'm finding it hard to keep track of what I've commented on....:gag:

Ooh good idea Andy, will make it easier as I have lost where i am upto now! So I'm sorry if I've missed anyones threads but I will try and catch up soon!!

Don't worry Marsha, it's a massive task. Absolutely HUGE :clap: to those of you who are managing to get around all the threads, but for those that can't don't beat yourself up over it. It's by no means compulsory, although you will get more out of the team spirit and shared inspiration if you drop into as many as you can.

As for me, first week back in work after New Year and I haven't even thought about my week 2 yet. Since I don't look at other threads until mine's in I'm afraid I haven't looked at any other week 2's yet.
Hopefully I'll be having a good catch up this weekend (provided that none of you are so quick off the mark that your week 3 is already posted before I get to you :lol:)
 
am doing my best to get round, but its blumming hard, think i've managed about another 20 tonight, and am going back in, in a minute

Hi Ann,

Welcome aboard :wave:

It's entirely up to you where you start. We're not so far along that it's an impossible task to catch up from week 1 (I haven't even done my week 2 yet!!!), but if you want to just dive straight in with week 3 the theme will be out Saturday morning.

To get started just set up your own thread in the 52s section of Projects, Personal Challenges & Themes and there's a tutorial here about posting photos in your thread.

No need to formally sign up, but if you follow the links in post 1 of this thread you'll find a link to the thread with a list of participants and to the spreadsheet if you want to add your name to those.

Sorry . . . but not quite sure that I understand the "quote" question. It's been a long day, so it's very probably me being a bit slow :lol:

Do you mean what is the quote button after each post? If you want to quote anyone's comments you click that button and that whole post will open up in the comments box, then delete what you don't want quoted!

nervous apprehension for me regarding the themes for weeks 3 and 4.
I'm off to India on business for 2 weeks. Depending on the theme I might be in luck - or I might have real problems. "Winter" for example would be BAD but "Vibrant colours" would be GOOD!
