Photo52 2012 : Join In !!! : Week 52 Busy

Well, i only managed one in 2011, i was starting late with good intentions but failed miserably.
This year i WILL start at the beginning and try my hardest if you lot can forgive my feeble effort in 2011

Hi all hope you all had a great christmas, after a total failure for 2011 :'(
only one posted I have to do better in 2012 not been on here much at all in 2011.
So here is to being more successful in 2012. Count me in again ;)

I have mentioned that I have just completed the 2011 52, I thought I would share the finale I have done, if you have a few spare minutes and fancy a look, take a look on my 2011 thread there is a link to youtube and my slideshow of images throughout the project. All of the themes used are on post #726 with the youtube link. :thumbs:

A perfect way for me to become more active within the TP community! I have started my thread but I need to go to the charity shop tomorrow to get something for my first photo.

I'll be subscribing to as many 52 threads as I can. Look forward to seeing all the contributions!
 
Hiya all you happy 2012 Photo52'ers

I have received a special request from my dear friend and fellow 2011 Photo52'er Lynne (Blondie 606) to generate an online spreadsheet, similar to what we had this year, for the 2012 team.

I'm happy to compile same for you all ..... but will only have time next week to do the spreadsheet..... especially as there will still be new team members joining in the New Year .... I think if I produce the sheet by next weekend we will capture the majority of those partaking in the New Year. It isn't a problem to add new ones to the list, it would just mean they will have to PM me to add their name if they don't know how to do it themselves.

Good luck to you all ..... I am still in 2 minds as to whether to attempt another Photo52 this year ..... but I have so many other ideas I wish to pursue (and most of you will find yourselves in the same position towards the end of the challenge and know what I mean).

I will be following your progress. I am going to subscribe to ... hopefully all of your projects and will pop past to offer c&c.

Most of all ....... Enjoy the experience and learn as much as you can.

I've just been through and added some C&C.

Great start everyone 51 (or possibly 52 ;)) to go.

I'd advise those who haven't, that it's advisable to edit your threat title to say 'Added' when you post your theme photograph because it makes it easier for members to identify threads when photographs are added to threads.

I'd like to have a stab at this. 2012 is a year of change and progress for me, in many ways. I think this could be a good constant in my life, as i'm trying to improve other aspects. The 365's are too much to worry about at the moment. This project sounds perfect.
 
You can add me to the broth of this 52 lark! :lol: I tried to do a 366, 4 years ago, but found that time away with the TA and various holidays etc. just got in the way.

So to celebrate the next leap year and technically the 'anniversary' of me first doing this I'm going to attempt a slightly easier 52 weeks. Not only this, but after running a quick search on Flickr i saw that someone complied a photo book with the 52 images they took in the year, which i thought was a really nice idea.

One question though... Do we have a Flickr group for this to share our photos to a wider audience? If not I have experience of running a group and can set this up for any 52'ers wanting to do it? With the TP Mods permission of course!

A bit daunting really but I'm going to give it a go.

I'm in. It's the photo 52 and a personal 366 as well this year. Hoping to make it further than a late May early June slump this time.
 
I'm in if its not to late. Hopefully will encourage me to do better

When you subscribe you get an email update, at least you do in Gmail.

Though thinking about it we didn't have it right from the start....maybe it would be different this time???
 
I think it would be good, as we will all be adding images right from the start, rather than later on in the year. I will gladly add my pics. Are we going to have them titled as per the week, eg.. week 1 direction, so then we can search for a specific week at any one time?

I'd go for 'Talk Photography 2012 52', easier to search for.

Might be an idea to get Mod approval...copyrights issues??

shouldn't see it being a problem.... after all they will also be (or rather some) the mods for the group also. :D
