Photo52 2010 - Week 1

I'll be joining in with this one this year ... DSLR bought in Nov 09, so a relative newbie.

Having looked at all the good shots from last year I think I'll certainly find this a challenge.

I failed miserably at my 52 last year. This sounds better though, some structure should do me good! Count me in and thanks to SimonTALM for arranging :)

I can't believe how many photo 52 threads there are this year ... It's amazing. Sorry for not commenting as yet... I made it a personal rule last year to get my shot before looking at the others, that way if mine is similar to someone else's, I won't feel the need to reshoot it.

I've started having a look at them this evening.
For all of those that I haven't commented on yet, please don't take it personally. I'll keep popping in over the next week - and try to catch all of those that haven't posted yet as well.

I'd prefer to give each one a bit of time and try to post something constructive rather than rush through all of them :)

If I don't get to look at somebody's this week I'll comment on both shots in week 2.
 
I'm giving this a try, see how long i can keep it up for :)
 
Think I'm in for this one. Find picture-a-day to much pressure but one a week should fit much better with my work/lifestyle.
 
Hi - a TP noob here saying hello and that I'm giving it a go.... I think this is ideal for me to start thinking as to what it is and how its been taken rather than getting a photo and post production it for the most part. I'm also after learning different technique too and again this sort of thing will make me think.

I'm in this year :) After my 365 fail last year I feel the need to set myself another challenge and get back into photography again. Off to look for inspiration now :)

I am and I intend to finish this year but I will create my thread once I have my first picture in the bag :thumbs: and I have my idea :woot:

Given the numbers I'm definitely going to have to limit the number I comment on, it will be random but I will try to look through as many as I can so, please, no-one be offended if I don't make it to your thread.
 
just a thought, is week twos theme posted in this thread, or a new, dedicated thread??
 
or it will more probably end up in 2 big threads, as after six months, you can no longer edit the first post to amend the title
 
Having just completed a pic a day for feb on another, non photography, site and struggled for inspiration I've decided that I'll be a late starter and join in from next week and run through into next year. I'll start a thread when I take the first picture.

Nice one Mike :) Make sure you get a link added to the list of 52'ers otherwise it might get overlooked when people are commenting.
