Just a quick question really.

Does anybody use PHOTO4ME and if so do you generate sales through them ?

I was looking at perhaps setting something up and wondered if they were a good option or whether there was an alternative (Redbubble etc) that is used more by potential buyers ?

Thanks for the reply Colin - over what period of time ?

I have considered using the site, but was interested to know if you users upload large images or smaller images and await contact for a sale..
Thanks..

Who sets the price and cut and do they end up owning all rights to your photos?

This looks like an interesting alternative to the 1p stock photo sites.

I beleive you set the price, and as i understand the copyright is always yours, but would like to hear more from those that are using the site.

I have had a few sales on there but like any such site you need to keep current and regularly upload (which I tend not to)

There is a base price which covers printing/post&pack etc and then you set the profit or cut you want based on that base.
Obviously if you want to make 200 on every sale then you need to set your prices pretty high which could cut you out of buyers choice.
They own only the rights to display on the site and to print. You always retain full copyright.

Anyone any advise as an ideal "Percentage Mark Up".

Thanks for the reply Andy.
