photo size for a 5 size leaflets

A5 = 21cm * 14.8cm or 8.267 * 5.827 inches.

At 300ppi

8.267 * 300 = 2480
5.827 * 300 = 1748

Or if the math is easier 300ppi is 118.11ppcm
 
I doubt your photo is worth "stealing" like that, but I could be wrong!
The above sizes and math are correct in terms of printing, what you're talking about is a different kettle of fish.
DPI is dots per inch. PPI - pixels per inch - is a measure relating to screen size.
A 300dpi A5 print would scan and print out 300dpi at A5, 150dpi @ A4, 75dpi @ A3 or fill a 50" 1080p screen at full res!

Even though printers request 300dpi for printing most peolple can't see that many. Google may help you here.
