just had my first wedding photo published in the newspaper.

im pleased as punch.

thats three published pics for me

May I ask, when PP decided to publish your shots, did they tell you in anyway, or did you just discover your pics in there one day?
 
pp kept my disc and said they would be using it in a future copy about 4 months later i bought the mag and there it was. about a week later they sent me a copy of the mag and my disc back with a cheque for 20 pound
 
i will upload the wedding pic soon as poss

im bidding on ebay at the mo so gotta keep checking
 
Cool. I only ask because I've heard nothing from the mag I sent a disk into a month-or-so ago
 
took longer that a month for me to receive any correspondance,

if they dont want it they send it back really quick within two weeks

ive had many returned this way :'( :'(

Its a nice picture but its ruined for my by the blown highlights. All of the detail has been lost from the dress and flowers. The scene outside the car window is also overexposed although this isn't as important as the dress/flower detail.

Composition is okay, I would have preferred a lower shot with less of the car roof on show though.

paper editor must of liked and couple loved it.

what i dont understand is lots of people say these things on line [and im not talking bout you ] and when i look at their pics i dont think they are any better,

i look at some wedding pics in the gallery and think mmmmmm i take pics similar.

i think i must be missing something
