Hi, I have been asked to do a display in a gallery with some of my wildlife photographs ,I already have lots of prints of all sizes but what I am looking for is some nice photo pocket sleeves to put sizes 10x8 and 7x5 in ,these will be for display and for people to handle while larger ones will be hung in frames, any help would be appreciated as to were I can purchase some in bulk would be appreciated. Thanks

Do you mean clear faced bags or something more upmarket?

Laminate them?

You can cut laminates very easily with any of the usual methods. Just remember to round off the corners if you cut them down - they can be sharp!

I would be tempted to print the images at he required size onto A4 paper and leave the white border - makes the final laminated (if that's the route you take) sheets a uniform size and shape with neatly rounded edges.

For photos you need crystal-clear polyester sleeves, not cheap muddy stuff from a stationery shop. Try Silverprint, Secol, etc.

From time to time Smiths knock out the clear sleeves at very low prices - I use them for holiday albums in cheap loose leaf binders. Laminating has the extra benefit of adding a lot of stiffness to the prints, making them almost indestructible (unless someone's really trying!)
